"The world is getting more global” - we have all heard the phrase but what does it mean in practice and how can businesses in the Gold Coast make the most of it. Even if we currently spend more and more time within multicultural environments, this doesn’t always mean that we know how to effectively deal with diversity, especially in a business setting.
This workshop focuses on practical approaches of dealing with global cultural matters at work and combines theory, with real-life examples and interactive elements to trigger interest for other cultural values and to help participants understand how working with international students may help leveraging those differences, facilitating expansion in certain regions of the world, creating stronger import and export links or ’simply’ building a more successful international team.
The session will be facilitated by Nannette Ripmeester MA - Queensland’s Innovator in Residence on Employability.
